Each confrontation plays out as a card-based battle where you build and modify your deck across runs, gaining new cards and ship upgrades as rewards. LONESTAR takes a premise that sounds dull on paper, get your value higher than the enemy's, and buries enough synergy underneath it to keep you reshuffling components for one more run.
