About
Eden Crafters drops you on a hostile planet with toxic lakes and an unbreathable atmosphere, and tasks you with terraforming it into something humans can live on. You mine resources, lay conveyor belts and pipes, and chain machines into assembly lines that eventually run themselves while you push the climate toward breathable. Five planets act as separate scenarios with different difficulty and pacing, from the beginner-friendly Echo Prime onward, and the loop is roughly the same on each: craft, automate, raise the temperature, flood the basins. It plays solo or in online co-op, and borrows openly from Planet Crafter's terraforming and Satisfactory's factory chains, set in a voxel world you can tunnel and reshape.
Verdict
Eden Crafters gets the big arc right: starting on a poisoned rock and ending with green ground and breathable air is a genuinely satisfying climb, and the price asks little of you. The trouble is everything between those moments. Placing a single conveyor turns into a fight with rotation and snapping, the five planets recycle one blueprint, and the optimisation can choke a 24GB card. It's a likeable, honest builder held back by the parts you touch most. Worth a look if you forgive jank, a frustration if you don't.
